Redesign of working environment in a 19th-century building
The Austrian insurance company Österreichische Beamtenversicherung (ÖBV) implemented a contemporary office concept as part of the extensive renovation and modernization of a building that dates back to the Gründerzeit.
The entire building was extensively renovated and modernized, with a particular emphasis on preserving key architectural elements while creating a modern office concept. The 3,000 square metres of bright, friendly office space have been designed for a generous shared desk model, and the newly created cafeteria is a space for staff to come together at lunchtime and beyond. At the same time, the new concept includes new meeting rooms, focus boxes and lounges on every level, all covering around 3,000 square metres in total.
In terms of interior design the focus was squarely on sustainability and efficiency – another strong argument in favour of choosing Girsberger.
