Renovation of seating in the listed building
The town of Bad Salzuflen in Germany has completely renovated its concert hall, which was built in 1963. The listed building is located in the spa gardens and is considered to be an outstanding example of 1960s spa architecture. After deciding against installing new seats for aesthetic and ecological reasons, it became necessary to find a way of refurbishing the old, worn audience seats.

Girsberger was on hand to provide the necessary capacity and expertise. At Girsberger's production facility in the German town of Endingen, the old covers and foam padding were removed, sorted and disposed of, new foam was glued to the seats, the covers were cut and sewn, and the seats received their new upholstery. This all took place within a period of two months.
