Girsberger presents Udina, a new solid wood table with a top supported by a concrete base that is divided in two at its centre with a precise joint line. The design by Mathias Seiler creates a fascinating sense of visual lightness and offers maximum legroom. The Udina Work model is available with integrated electrical connections, making it the ideal choice for a conference table.

Udina is an expressive solid-wood table. The tabletop is available in a superelliptical, rectangular or round shape, and is supported by a concrete base. As a sculpturally shaped central base it provides outstanding stability through its own weight, allowing for overhanging tabletops of up to 280 cm in length. The result is a table with maximum legroom and a fascinating sense of visual lightness. The concrete base is available in either light or dark grey. The two-part construction also has a functional purpose, helping to make transport, handling and assembly of the table much easier. All wood types in the Girsberger range are available for the dining table version.

A special table – also for meeting areas
For use in a work environment, the Udina Work option is available with integrated electrical connections with flush-mounted sockets and a cable tray. The tabletop for the conference room version is available in oak, knotty oak or American walnut.

Über den Designer Mathias Seiler:
Mathias Seiler, 1963 geboren, studierte Industrial Design an der Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Hamburg bei Prof. Dieter Rams. Er arbeitete international als Produktdesigner für verschiedene renommierte Möbelhersteller und erhielt zahlreiche Auszeichnungen. Seit 2010 trägt Mathias Seiler bei Girsberger die Gesamtverantwortung für Design und Marketing.
