At the IMM, the International Interiors Show in Cologne, between 15 and 21 January 2018, Swiss furniture manufacturer Girsberger will be exhibiting a number of new products and additions to its ranges in Hall 11.1, stand F21/E20.
The concept for this sculpturesque wire chair came from internationally renowned designer Alfredo Häberli, who created it as an eye-catching feature for the Rockefeller Dining Room in the Haus Konstruktiv museum in Zurich. Having been made more comfortable with the addition of seat and back cushions, the chair is now available as part of the Girsberger collection.
Bützberg, 15.01.2018
With its graphically linear frame made of sculpted steel wire, the "Alambre" chair is a statement piece. It seems to have been lifted straight out of Alfredo Häberli's sketch book, as if a stroke of the pencil has jumped off the page.
The chair works equally well on its own or in a group. It is suitable for use in dining rooms, meeting rooms, lounges or waiting areas. Its soft and relaxed seat and back cushions make it extremely comfortable yet are quickly and easily removed. The frame is available in matt anthracite grey as part of the Girsberger collection, which also includes a wide range of fabrics for the cushion covers.
