Calina – an extensive chair programme with an organic rounded form

The Calina chair is distinctive for its rounded and organic forms. Two different backrests offer a choice between a visually lighter version and an especially comfortable upholstered option. Calina’s designer Markus Dörner created a chair that provides the freedom for any sitting posture. A large selection of frame options allows for a wide range of applications – from the dining table to the meeting room.

The Calina design is distinctive for its rounded and organic forms. It also offers a high level of comfort – the curved backrest encloses the upper body like a soft embrace, offering well-fitting support for a cosy sitting experience. The upholstery on the seat and backrest adds to the softness of the overall impression. This is a model of chair that meets the demands of various different types of use.

Thanks to a wide selection of frame designs, Calina is suited both for use as a dining chair and in the office as a conference chair. Eight frame options, three four-legged frames and one skid frame are available, and the configuration with a basic four-legged frame and standard upholstery is also stackable. The swivel option with four-star aluminium feet offers more freedom of movement at the conference table, and the flat version is also fitted with a return mechanism.

The option with a height-adjustable five-star base on castors makes Calina an attractive swivel chair for temporary work or as an appealing office chair when working from home.
