At the IMM, the International Interiors Show in Cologne, between 15 and 21 January 2018, Swiss furniture manufacturer Girsberger will be exhibiting a number of new products and additions to its ranges in Hall 11.1, stand F21/E20.
The multi-purpose "Nava" moulded shell chair is available in numerous versions – with different frames, with seat upholstery and also in a fully upholstered option. The design is by Canadian designer Tom Deacon. Thanks to its understated design vocabulary, "Nava" works beautifully in every incarnation – despite or precisely because it is pared right back to the essentials.

The organically curved plastic moulded shell seat with clear and flowing lines makes this model an elegant and comfortable chair which, thanks to its understated design vocabulary, sits well in any environment, be it the home or bistros and restaurants. When you lean back, the backrest yields agreeably, affording a high degree of comfort even when sitting for long periods. "Nava" is available either as a stackable four-legged chair with or without armrests and with or without an upholstered seat, or as a skid-frame chair and with a wooden frame. The skid frame is available in both low and high versions, allowing "Nava" to be used at standing tables. The fully upholstered version with a fabric or leather cover is particularly homely – especially when combined with the wooden frame. The crosswise topstitching segments the upholstery in the middle, giving the comfortable chair a distinctive look.
Wherever the chair is used and whichever design option is chosen, "Nava" is inviting and comfortable in every incarnation.
