As Girsberger is an internationally active company, the basic training we offer our apprentice industrial clerks is very comprehensive. In three years our apprentices gain experience in almost all work processes relevant to their training: purchasing, marketing and sales, customer services, financial accounting – as well as production planning and management. They also learn about freight handling and customs clearance, and spend a week working at the head office in Switzerland.
are interested in commercial activities and business processes, enjoy speaking to people and have a flair for language, like organizing things, are good at maths, are reliable, and have the ability to work independently. The minimum prerequisite for the apprenticeship is the German "Mittlere Reife" (general education school leaving certificate after grade 10), while the recommended qualification is the "Berufskollegium" vocational college certificate or the "Abitur" (comparable to the International Baccalaureate).
