Grain – inspired by nature

The Grain bouclé fabric, made from post-consumer recycled polyester, is inspired by the irregular textures of nature and is the ideal choice for creating spaces that reference nature in both subtle and more visible ways. The fabric has an asymmetrical aesthetic that is reminiscent of textures found in nature.

The irregular appearance of the weave results from a multitude of looped fibres that create a very different effect from classic smooth fabrics. The tactility adds texture and visual softness to interior design, and is particularly suitable for soft upholstered furniture.

Earthy tones and bold colours

The colour range comprises a total of 50 shades, with 25 single-colour and 25 two-tone options. The palette is dominated by earthy tones and neutrals such as ochre, brown and grey, which emphasise the natural effect of the fabric and help to create warm interiors. The palette also includes a range of bold colours, however, such as red, blue, green, orange and yellow for striking colour accents.

Recycled and certified

The single-colour versions of the Grain fabric contain 92 % recycled polyester, the two-colour versions 80 %. The environmental friendliness of the fabric is also documented by STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certification.

Polyester is extremely versatile, durable and offers excellent stretch and cushioning properties. Recycled polyester offers the same technical and aesthetic properties as virgin polyester, but with a lower impact on the environment.
