MF Group, St. Gallen, Switzerland

Located in the heart of the historic centre of the eastern Switzerland metropolis of St. Gallen, the MF Group headquarters is housed in a building on "Roter Platz", a red-carpeted city lounge designed by artist Pipilotti Rist and architect Carlos Martinez. As part of a complete spatial transformation, the working areas of the financial services provider were completely redesigned by BBS by office vitality AG with around 80 workstations. The approach was based on a brief to create a modern working atmosphere at this prestigious location.

Tanja Winkler, the interior designer responsible from the office furnishing company BBS, opted for a first-class furnishing solution from Girsberger. The office layout was created according to the company's requirements and processes, and designed in a needs-based approach. A reception area, admin areas, call centre, conference and meeting rooms as well as zones for informal encounters and communication and a lounge area with kitchen and break room were created over an area of around 770 square metres.

The furniture by Girsberger fits perfectly into the interior design concept due to its design language and materialisation. The use of wood and leather and natural colours underlines the closeness to nature and the values outlined in the design concept.
