New lounge as a meeting place
A new meeting place has been created on the ground floor of the Welding Group building, an international service provider for the pharmaceutical industry. The new area offers employees the chance to come together to chat or work in a relaxed environment, having previously only encountered each other on one of the ten floors of the building or in the lift.
Various areas were created within a space of around 140 square metres, including a lounge, a café corner, a bigger table for chatting around and a conference zone, as well as cloakroom, kitchen and storage space.
The design concept focuses on natural materials such as concrete, brick, wood and lots of greenery. These are complemented by six striking accent colours, which are also found in the Cina armchairs. These are arranged on round carpets to form small seating islands and invite people to stay and socialise.
