Full restoration of folding seats

Girsberger carried out a full restoration the folding seats in the auditorium as part of a extensive upgrade of the Berufsfachschule (vocational school) building, which dates back to 1960.

The comprehensive renovation of the 1960s building was necessary due to current usage requirements and fire and safety standards.
Building and electrical infrastructure, including stage and media technology, and surfaces were upgraded, and furnishings benefited from a full restoration. The centrally located auditorium of this vocational training centre is now available for use by local schools, as well as for non-school events with up to 400 people.

Old leatherette covers and foam padding were replaced by new, fire-resistant upholstery materials and covers.

In line with the architects’ plans, the azure blue auditorium contrasts with the white ceiling and the new orange-red folding seats.
