Girsberger at imm cologne 2020

At imm cologne, which will be held from 13–19 January 2020, Swiss furniture manufacturer Girsberger will once again focus its presentation on its expertise in solid wood. New products include various versions of the elegant "Carim" bench, the "Linar" solid wood table and an addition to the "Barra" table range with an extendable table, as well as to the "Nava" range of multi-purpose moulded shell chairs. Featuring a contemporary choice of colours, upholstery fabrics and types of wood, the company will showcase diverse design options.

Bützberg, 13.1.2020 – New products

"Carim" is a straight-lined and elegant bench that comes with the choice of an A-frame or sleigh-leg frame. It is available with or without a backrest and in four lengths: 180 cm, 220 cm, 240 cm and 280 cm. The A-frame version of "Carim" goes perfectly with the Barra table. The sleigh-leg version can be combined with a wide variety of different tables. As well as the standard upholstery option, a version with button tufting is also offered, which gives the bench a luxurious and classic character.

The "Linar" solid wood table features a four-legged flat steel structure which gives it a slender and sophisticated look. Yet the frame boasts excellent stability, enabling tables to be up to 4 metres in length. The edges of the solid wood tabletop are bevelled, further emphasizing the table's sophisticated character. "Linar" is available in all types of wood and surface finishes in the Girsberger solid wood collection.

The "Barra" table has a clear and elegant look. The key design features of this solid wood table are its angled legs made of flat steel. "Barra" is available in any length from 160 cm to 400 cm. A new version is now offered featuring a smooth synchronous extension. This comes in three lengths – 180 cm, 200 cm and 220 cm – with a 100 cm extension. The legs remain in place while the extension can be pulled out instantly to create space for additional guests.

The "Nava" range of multi-purpose moulded shell chairs features a new version in full-grain leather.
There are 14 colours of leather to choose from. As an extra feature, the skid-frame version of "Nava" is now also available with armrests. The standard version has oak armrests with a bright varnish; the other options are black-stained oak and walnut with a natural varnish.
