Extendable table – compact solution with plenty of legroom.

An oval tabletop with large overhang contributes to the distinctive appearance of the Amieta extendable table. A compact central base column allows for maximum legroom when seated, while the base plate made of black-coated steel ensures ultimate stability. The extension mechanism is pleasantly smooth and allows the tabletop to be extended by 60 cm from the centre. Extension panels are available as black lacquered MDF boards or Valchromat – an innovative dyed wood fibre material with a high density of natural wood fibres, colour pigments and resins. The tabletop is available in various types of wood from the Girsberger range. Amieta is also available without extension and as an Amieta Work table with power supply.

Synchronous extension

Amieta can be extended by 60 cm thanks to the synchronous extension system and butterfly extension leaf. The solid wood outer panels are moved in sync and with no effort, while the central column remains in place.

Design

Mathias Seiler

Born in 1963, he studied industrial design at Hamburg University of Fine Arts under the tutelage of Prof. Dieter Rams. He has worked internationally as a product designer for various renowned furniture makers and has received numerous awards. Mathias Seiler has had overall responsibility for design and marketing at Girsberger since 2010.
